The Duesenberg Centre
Development is commercial development on Interstate 69 in Auburn, Indiana.
It is adjacent to Wal-Mart and surrounded by Retail.
Interstate 69 and US Highway 8 serve as the main commercial axes of Auburn.
An important critical mass of retail, restaurants, motels, and other highway
commercial users line both sides of the Highway and extend from I-69 to the
downtown of Auburn.
The site enjoys complete and unobstructed visibility from I-69 along its
west boundary and offers convenient access off of US Highway 8. Traffic
counts, when combined, approach 50,000 cars a day. I-69, US-8 and US-6
afford excellent access from the City of Auburn as well as the surrounding
communities of Kendallville, Garrett, Avilla, Waterloo, Butler, Ashley,
Hudson and Angola.
4 miles south of the site, on I-69, is the Kruse International Park, which
houses the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Festival and Auction (one of the 100
largest events in the country.) Located at the same interchange is the World War
II Museum. Located 24 miles north (just out of the trade area) is Pokagon
Indiana State Park. The Indiana Toll Road is 27 miles north.
